MissGlamourpuss studied fashion design at the prestigious London College of Fashion, which is the design sister school of Central St Martins in London, England. All of our handmade couture is designed with your cat's safety, comfort and movement as our top priority. As such, all of our dresses are "pull over" style, which means there are no snaps, buttons or zippers to catch on fur or that can be chewed off and swallowed by a curious kitty.

Fitting: Our dresses will fit most average housecats- even if they are "plus sized". (You've most likely given your cat a bath at some point, and were probably shocked at how little they really are when you subtract all that fluffy fur!) We'd even go so far as to say that our dresses will fit 99% of cats. To reassure you, take these 2 critical measurements: a) around the neck- or collar size, and b) around the ribcage- about 2 inches south from the "armpit" of her front legs.

Our dresses will comfortably fit a cat up to 30cm at the neck, and 50cm around the waist, which is the top end for a healthy bodyweight for a cat. If your cat is larger than this, we actually would encourage you to speak to your vet about cat nutrition- your kitty may have health issues that could be resolved with a better diet, and she deserves a long healthy and happy life.

What about the Boys? We believe cats are generally pretty open-minded, and metro-sexual to the point of being much more adventurous than your average man. In fact, we think cats are so haute-couture conscious, they looooove to experiment with their "feminine side"- kind of like all those New Romantics dressed up like Vivienne Westwood's pirates in the 80's. So while we draw the line at eyeliner, we say leave the inhibitions at the door and get a ballgown onto his cute little booty!

Please Note: Our special dresses are like "your" special dresses - they are fun and gorgeous to wear, but they are intended for special occasions, and are not suitable for everyday casual wear. So dress your kitty up for a few hours at a time and enjoy how she looks, but remember to give her a break too. Even Princess Diana's wedding gown would have turned into an old schmata if worn every day God sent!
